๐Ÿ“chinatown, financial district, seaport

hi again!! these were taken at a few different areas of the city that I can't wait to talk about. The picture above was taken in seaport, which is kind of a lesser known area but one of my absolute favorites. It has a lot of history to it and beautiful cobblestone streets, and its super clean and has a lot of outdoor restaurants and shops that take up entire blocks. Its also right next to the water, which will give you the best breeze in the city this summer, guaranteed.

I'm still **very much** on board the pajama pants trend, and this is the first time I've worn it with sneakers (+ my first time wearing comfy shoes in the city since my birth).

These pictures were taken at a new discovery, the Metrograph. Its a super old theater right by Chinatown on Ludlow St, but in addition to being an ultra cool cinema with brand-new and classic movies, it as a commissary restaurant with a simple, light menu. I got the apple salad and it was one of the best salads I've had in a minute, plus the decor is very old hollywood.

jazzed about produce, as always.

All of these pictures (except the doughnuts, 1 sec) were taken on the main floor of the Metrograph. Of course, they have popcorn and a ton of candy to complete the movie-going experience. The donuts on the left are from the Doughnut Plant, home to my favorite doughnuts, including this one shaped adn flavored like a rose.

More coming soon, I promise!! ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’ž

I've been obsessing over Hair for so many months (the latest issue of Sawyer is even Hair-themed!), and was psyched to see it in the Soho Artists & Fleas. I don't have record player, but almost bought it just to have around. I wanted someone else to be able to enjoy it properly instead. You should definitely check it out on Spotify or something though- it makes me so nostalgic for the late 60's, even though it was kind of a messy time (but what time isn't?). It just has such a vibrant sound and spirit. I personally love the revival recording, but the original (pictured) is arguably more authentic.

The Public Hotel is brand new to Chrystie St., and I'm already so in love. Besides the lobby market, neon escalators, and second-floor infinity mirror and pool table, their rooftop bar has one of the most unbelievable views of Manhattan. There are white couches everywhere for hanging out and taking in sun, plus speakers everywhere filled with music you'll definitely shazam.

Until next time! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ๐Ÿ›

Hi!! ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒŸ Just wanted to say a quick hello with this simple outfit- mostly to show off this embroidered denim skirt from Topshop. I've been working in the city this summer and working on the August issue of Sawyer (sawyermagazine.com)! The next issue is 'Hair,' which I'm so thrilled about because I've been obsessing over all incarnations of the show for months and months. It's a piece thats really influenced my state of mind + lifestyle and so I'm so happy to share it with everybody! I've also been loving Younger, which you can watch on the TV Land website. Look out for more posts on the blog section coming super soon!

We're officially one month deep into Summer, and you know what that means- I'm back in the city regularly and blogging as I go! These were taken by FIT, on a street lined with these tall, colorful murals. The pajama pant trend (aka my new lifestyle) is definitely a big staple in my closet this summer. I love the look of the loose culottes, and the material is really light in the heat.

Urban Spaces are my current NY obsession. They're outdoor markets that sell THE COOLEST and most creative food from lots of different vendors and pop ups. You can read about/locate them here. Jars By Dani is a favorite vendor of mine. They sell jars filled with layers of sweet goodness (like frosting, cookies, and whipped cream). My flavor of the day was cake batter, layered with chewy sugar cookie crust, cake batter filling, whipped cream, and rainbow sprinkles.

More soon!!!
