And WELCOME BACK to bad joke central! A very happy Easter to anyone who's celebrating it today. I painted and decorated Easter eggs yesterday, and thought I would share!
The eggs on the right side of the carton I dyed using the tablets in the dye kit, then brushed different colors in random patterns on the eggs using regular watercolor paints. It gave the eggs a cool tie-dye effect I really liked.
To make the glitter eggs on the left side of the carton, I spread a thin layer of glue over the eggs, and then rolled each one in different shades of the same color of craft glitter. I dyed the eggs in the second column to the left, then decorated them with gold and silver foil.
Keeping with the theme of eggs, I had a great iced coffee and an egg sandwich while decorating. I live for egg sandwiches and this one (topped with salsa, sour cream, and slices of avocado) was a home run.
Have an awesome day, and I hope you enjoyed the pictures (speaking of, have you seen the photography in the My Work tab yet?). Until next time!
